Oscar & Frank Eyewear is an independently owned eyewear brand with our roots firmly placed in Sydney Australia and production occurring in all corners of the globe including France, Italy & Japan.
HERITAGE
Before Oscar & Frank Eyewear launched in 2014, options for designer eyewear at a fair price point were few and far between. A handful of companies control most of the eyewear industry, often forcing brands to prioritise either stylish design or premium craftsmanship. We wanted our customer to never have to make that choice. Our challenge was to modernize the idea of a simple pair of glasses. During 2012 -2013 founder Emma Stephens & Mitch Burgess traveled to Italy, France, Hong Kong & Japan to source manufacturers & materials for the debut collection. Those who stood out were true artisans who had spent decades perfecting elements of production such as metalwork and hand-mixing acetate (This is why no two Oscar & Frank Eyewear acetate frames are identical).
ENGINEERED IN AUSTRALIA
Designing a pair of Oscar & Frank glasses happens in-house and by hand at our Sydney Studio. Taking inspiration from our surroundings living in both Sydney Australia & Canggu Bali, our styles are a direct product of our endlessly fascinating surroundings. We take passion for modern design and translate it into pieces that are fundamentally wearable.

HANDMADE
Our frames are handmade exclusively by the leading manufacturers of luxury eyewear, in small family-owned ethically managed factories. Only the highest grade materials are used. This meticulous process takes over 90 days and requires more than 50 steps from start to finish.
